Life Update 2.0

So I’m back again with yet another redesign and this one aiming more towards simplicity.

I think it’s probably just been over a year since I last posted on here and I always had the best of intentions of keeping this site updated with fresh content about my day to day life, but I just didn’t bother.

Not that I didn’t have anything to write about, I actually did quite a lot in the last year and a lot has changed in my life. I just didn’t know what direction I wanted this site to take. It’s been through a lot of iterations and I’ve gone from being full pelt digital marketing blog right back to barebones everything and anything.

I think I like this new look.

What’s new?

Well this week I’m actually heading off to my first marketing conference. Oh there I go turning this blog into a marketing blog again….

I’m heading down to Leeds to attend the Searchleeds conference which is an event organised to bring marketers and search engine industry people together for a day of learning about new techniques, updates to methods and just general geekery.

Should be a fun and informative trip.

I’ll also be taking down my Nintendo Switch which I picked up around Christmas and have played probably a maximum of 20 times in the last six months. Ah impulse buys are great aren’t they.

The console itself is great fun though and I’ve still yet to complete the only game that I’ve got for it which is Super Mario Odyssey.

I’ve also recently rediscovered my love for my iPad mini, yet another impulse buy that gets neglected, but it’s ridiculously handy.

Granted it does have some downfalls, but I’m actually really enjoying using it now.

Anyway I don’t really know where this post is headed other than just rambling so I’m probably going to finish this one. I’ll update you about my Leeds trip once I’ve returned.
